Veloz-Luvevano v Lynch

Veloz-Luvevano petitioned for review of the denial of his motion to reopen his removal proceeding. The panel denied his petition. It held that his conviction for impersonation was categorically a crime involving moral turpitude as it impliedly involved fraud and Veloz-Luvevano was thus ineligible to have his removal cancelled. Thus, there was no ineffective assistance by his counsel for failing to introduce certain documents as the documents could not overcome the moral turpitude conviction.
